8-12 Weeks Before Your Move:

  • Notify your current and future utility providers (electricity, water, gas, internet, cable, etc.) of your upcoming move.

6-8 Weeks Before Your Move:

  • Confirm your moving date with your moving company.
  • Start packing non-essential items.
  • Label boxes with their contents and the room they belong in.
  • Notify the post office of your change of address.
  • Notify banks, credit card companies, and other financial institutions of your change of address.

4-6 Weeks Before Your Move:

2-4 Weeks Before Your Move:
